Dr. Payel Gupta

Dr. Payel Gupta is a triple board-certified physician and innovative clinical educator with a passion for advancing knowledge in allergy, immunology, and respiratory health. She serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai Medical Center and SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she mentors future healthcare leaders.

Dr. Gupta brings extensive expertise in virtual medicine, combining clinical excellence with technological innovation. Licensed in 29 states, she delivers both asynchronous and synchronous care in Allergy & Immunology and Obesity Medicine across multiple platforms. She also maintains a Brooklyn-based clinic serving pediatric and adult patients with environmental allergies, food allergies, asthma, chronic rhino sinusitis, eczema, urticaria, mast cell disorders and other immune-based conditions.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Gupta co-hosts The Itch Podcast, dedicated to bridging the gap between patients and healthcare professionals through accessible, evidence-based education on allergic diseases.

A past president of the New York Allergy & Asthma Society, Dr. Gupta also serves as a national volunteer spokesperson for the American Lung Association and as a member of the Medical Advisory Council for the Allergy & Asthma Network. She is a committed advocate for raising awareness around allergic conditions.

Dr. Gupta's dedication extends to global health and underserved populations, with volunteer work spanning Haiti, Liberia, Nepal, India, Peru, Tanzania, and Malawi.
